Our Vision and Values
Voice, Choice and Opportunity
Our mission is to provide a transformative cradle to career education that allows our children to enjoy lives of choice and opportunity. At Kippax Ash Tree this means giving a range of opportunities and learning experiences that inspire informed choices and develop authentic, powerful voices.
At Kippax Ash Tree we use our powerful voices to enable us to make meaningful choices for a life of opportunity and success.

Our Vision and Values:

  • Voice:  We want each member of the school to have a voice, to agree and disagree respectfully, to have a voice that helps them and others be safe. ( Act and Speak with Care and Respect ) ( Keep yourself and others safe )
  • Choice: We actively make choices and never stop trying to make better choices where we can.
  • Opportunity: Our curriculum gives a range of opportunities and experiences that informs children of the choices they can make in life. They have the confidence to make a choice about whether to take that opportunity.

At Kippax Ash Tree we strive to thrive by being:

  • Respectful communicators - we act and speak with care and respect, we keep ourselves and others safe and use our individual and collective voice to make our world a better place for everyone.
  • Resilient individuals - we all give 100%, we don’t give up and we embrace challenge.
  • Global Citizens - we understand our role in society and demonstrate respect for the environment, difference, community and the wider world.
  • Healthy Advocates - we develop the physical and mental strength to be successful and happy in our cradle to career journey.

At Kippax Ash Tree we use our voice to:

  • Ask and answer questions in class and be an active participant in all learning.
  • Share our thoughts, opinions and feelings respectfully.
  • Support others and make a positive change.
  • To give us the knowledge and experiences, to talk about the world in which we live in with detail
    and purpose.
  • Keep ourselves and others safe.

We make choices about:

  • How we behave and learn so that we can be positive role models.
  • What we believe and what we are interested in.
  • How we use our knowledge to inform our choices and opinions.
  • WHO and WHAT we want to be in life.

We have opportunities to:

  • Take part in extra-curricular activities and curriculum enhancing experiences.
  • Experience and learn about different cultures and influential people throughout History.
  • Expand and strengthen our knowledge and skills through a rich broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Become respectful global citizens and learn about the wider world.
  • Go to university, higher education or to get a great job which we love.

We do this by:

  • Building great relationships with each other and the adults in our school.
  • Having the highest expectations of ourselves and each other - we strive to thrive.
  • Giving 100% effort in every thing we do.
  • Developing the physical and mental strength to be happy and successful.

Leadership

Brigshaw Partnership Vision and Values

We're proud to belong to the Brigshaw Learning Partnership MAT, working together with six other school, sharing our experiences, expertise and resources. Our mission is to provide a cradle to career education that allows our children to enjoy lives of choice and opportunity.

Being part of the BLP allows for exceptional education and opportunities in our community and to be part of an all through journey from reception, through to 6th form. Our shared ambition is underpinned by a commitment to our values of equality, integrity and resilience.

Equality

  • We are one team with one goal.
  • We are unapologetically ambitious for all and believe that every child can achieve, regardless of their background or socio economic status.
  • We work with each other and for each other.
  • We know that together we are greater than the sum of our parts.

Resilience

  • We give 100% effort.
  • We don’t make excuses or give up when it’s hard.
  • We embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
  • We know success is achieved incrementally.

Integrity

  • We are professional, we do the right thing and do it well.
  • We do what we say we will do.
  • We are open about our successes and areas for growth and take responsibility to become better, every day.
  • We have a shared moral purpose that enables us to deliver on our commitments.
