FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. Together, we take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to nearly 8,500 front line charities and community groups. The food we redistribute is nutritious and good to eat. It reaches charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week we provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people. As a school we pay annually for FareShare. We have weekly deliveries of food which we then make available for parents and families to purchase at a reduced rate.
Many people are struggling with the increase in the cost of living crisis and we understand that if your child is nearing the end of their time at Kippax Ash Tree or participates in sport, new or extra uniform can be a cost you haven’t budgeted for. At Kippax Ash Tree we have a pre-loved uniform store where parents can take items when they need them. We have uniform in all sizes including PE kits. We also accept donations of any pre-loved uniform to add to our store.
